About
Timothy Azevedo
Founder and Attorney at Law
Timothy has been practicing law since he graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University School of Law. While at Texas A&M, he interned for the Dallas County Courts, the U.S. Navy JAG, and a Grapevine law firm. He was selected for the highly competitive Student Honors Program at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). He helped to represent taxpayers before the IRS in the Low Income Tax Clinic and was Vice President of the Texas A&M Military & Veteran Law Society. His academic work on insurance coverage disputes was published in the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law, where he served as Associate Editor. Timothy also holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University, where he was a member of the Honors College, an officer on the Model United Nations team, and a National Merit Scholar.
Prior to law school, Timothy gained valuable business and risk management experience working as an insurance adjuster for a Fortune 100 company and then as a commercial insurance underwriter where he was recognized as “MVP” in May 2016 for top employee honors nationwide in the company’s small business group. After law school, he leveraged this firsthand industry knowledge as a litigator for a large downtown Dallas law firm.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served in the Office of Disaster Assistance at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). He is proud that his work helped ensure critical SBA loans for small business owners were funded and went to those businesses that needed it most. The extraordinary efforts of Timothy’s department were recognized by the Administrator’s Ike Award, the highest honor bestowed by the SBA.
At the SBA, Timothy saw the extraordinary challenges that business owners face, and the growing need for client-centered legal services—especially as more Americans started more new businesses than ever before. In 2021, after prayer and reflection, he resigned from the SBA to start Evergreen Law. Timothy brings the heart of a teacher, a passion to serve, and a solid understanding of business to his law practice.
Timothy is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association and Young Lawyers Association, Texas Aggie Bar Association, Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, Champion of Justice Society (Texas Access to Justice Commission), and the legal honor society Phi Delta Phi. He is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He was recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers in 2024.
Outside of law practice, Timothy enjoys spending time with his family, entertaining friends, reading with his cat Roxy, crafting homemade cocktails and coffee, watching college football, and attending St. Vincent’s Anglican Church.
